T-Pain and Snoop Dogg are getting into a land of marvel on their new single, “That’s How We Ballin.” The duo honored the late Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) by together with some gag recreations within the music video, which was directed by T-Ache himself.
The video kicks off with T-Ache almost getting right into a combat with a bunch of bikers on the bar, considered one of which is performed by AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys. Afterward, Snoop Dogg seems, as the 2 attempt navigating a funhouse that provides the Pee-Wee vibes.
T-Ache spoke to Rolling Stone about how he first obtained the inspiration.
“I used to be on a flight from LA to Atlanta and couldn’t sleep, so I regarded for films to maintain me entertained,” T-Ache stated. “Pee-wee’s Huge Journey got here up and I couldn’t assist myself. After watching the film, I placed on my private headphones to hearken to the current music I had achieved. ‘That’s How We Ballin’ got here on first and I instantly made the connection. I texted my NappyBoy Movies crew and allow them to know ‘We’ve to do that!’”
“What’s crazier is, 4 days later is when Paul handed away,” he added. “That was after I knew I had to do that proper, which is why it took so lengthy to movie, however I really feel good that we took our time.”
