Stray Kids has simply scored their fourth No. 1 entry on the Billboard 200 in lower than two years!
On November 19 native time, Billboard introduced that Stray Youngsters’ new mini album “ROCK-STAR” had debuted at No. 1 on its Prime 200 Albums chart, making it their fourth consecutive album to high the chart following “ODDINARY,” “MAXIDENT,” and “★★★★★ (5-STAR).”
Notably, Stray Youngsters is the primary artist in 16 years to have all 4 of their first chart entries debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and the primary Okay-pop artist to attain the feat. The final artist to see their first 4 entries debut at No. 1 was Alicia Keys, who pulled off the feat between 2001 and 2007.
Moreover, it took Stray Youngsters lower than 20 months to rack up 4 No. 1 albums, making them the quickest artist to build up 4 No. 1s since Taylor Swift (who took just below 16 months to attain the feat between August 2020 and November 2021).
In keeping with Luminate (previously Nielsen Music), “ROCK-STAR” earned a complete of 224,000 equal album models through the week ending on November 16. The album’s complete rating consisted of 213,000 conventional album gross sales—of which 98 % have been CD gross sales and a pair of % have been digital downloads—and 11,000 streaming equal album (SEA) models, which interprets to fifteen.68 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
