South African rapper Costa Titch has died after collapsing onstage at Johannesburg’s Extremely South Africa music pageant on Saturday (March 11). He was 28.
The household of the rapper, whose actual title was Constantinos Tsobanoglou, confirmed the tragic information in a press release posted Sunday (March 12) on the artist’s Instagram account.
“Loss of life has tragically knocked at our door. Robbing us of our beloved son, brother, and grandson,” the assertion reads. “Constantinos Tsobanoglou (28), whom South Africa had come to like and idolize below his stage title ‘Costa Titch.’ It’s with deep ache that we discover ourselves having to acknowledge his passing presently.”
His family members continued, “As a household, we’re confronted with a troublesome time as we attempt to make sense of what has befallen us and ask that we be afforded the time and area to collect ourselves.
