Final week, on Lil Yachty’s podcast A Safe Place, J. Cole shared his preliminary response to Soulja’s breakthrough 2007 single, “Crank That,” with which he wasn’t thrilled. Soulja was not happy with the remarks.
Instantly after listening to Cole’s feedback, Soulja took to X (previously Twitter) to blast the rapper. The rant started on November 4 and ended on Monday. However in a while that day, Soulja apologized to Cole for his on-line tangent.
“My unhealthy dawg. J. Cole, sorry for the confusion,” he stated. “Preserve doing all your sh*t. We [are] from two completely different worlds. I stand on what I stand on. It’s exhausting coming from the place I did, man. I handled a number of hate my complete profession, so it was simply messed to assume it might come from you 💯.”
