Olivia Rodrigo is right here, she’s there, she’s all over the place — and now has a music video to go together with her highly effective The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes monitor, “Can’t Catch Me Now.”
The clip, which was launched on Monday (Nov. 13), finds the singer leaving a cottage and wandering via a subject as she sings about her omnipresence in another person’s life. “However I’m within the bushes, I’m within the breeze / My footsteps on the bottom / You’ll see my face in each place / However you’ll be able to’t catch me now,” she muses within the refrain.
“Can’t Catch Me Now,” which dropped earlier this month, serves because the opening monitor to the 17-song movie soundtrack due out November 17 through Geffen Information, which can also be the date the Starvation Video games movie hits theaters. The soundtrack contains songs carried out within the movie by The Starvation Video games star Rachel Zegler, in addition to tracks by younger artists within the people/Americana style.
The upcoming film stars Zegler alongside Tom Blyth, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Jason Schwartzman and Viola Davis, and follows the story of Coriolanus (Blyth), who’s the final hope for his failing lineage, the Snow household that has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol.
