Earlier this morning, the 2023 Golden Raspberry Awards announced their “winners” —or wouldn’t it technically be their losers?
Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun each took house the award for Worst Director on the forty third annual Razzie Awards for his or her work in Good Mourning. The movie follows film star London Conflict (MGK) after he wakes as much as what he believes is a breakup text from the love of his life. The storyline simply goes downhill from there.
Good Mourning obtained a whopping 0 p.c on Rotten Tomatoes, with critic Matt Conway of Battle Royale With Cheese writing: “The overwhelming lack of cohesion shouldn’t be too stunning contemplating Kelly and Solar wrote the movie in a mere few days. Kelly and Solar’s directorial method is equally listless. Other than a number of intelligent inventive prospers, their manufacturing values lack competence and a gorgeous artistic imaginative and prescient.”
The 2 really made it out fairly properly, contemplating Good Mourning was nominated in almost all of the categories. They narrowly escaped profitable Worst Image, Worst Actor (MGK), Worst Supporting Actor (Pete Davidson), Worst Display Couple (MGK and Mod Solar), and Worst Screenplay.
