Katy Perry and Thomas Rhett saved their eyes on one another for an emotional efficiency of their lovelorn duet “The place We Began” on the 2022 CMA Awards on Wednesday evening (Nov. 9).

Perry was on Rhett’s enjoying subject on the Nashville awards present, and the pop star performed the half, sporting a black cowgirl hat along with her strapless denim robe, full with fringed slit, to commerce verses with the country star.

“The place We Began” is the title monitor from Rhett’s most up-to-date album, launched in April. Perry and Rhett launched a music video for the track final month.
