Former A Life Once Lost Drummer TJ de Blois Has Died


TJ de Blois, the founding drummer of the heavy 2000s Pennsylvania metalcore outfit A Life As soon as Misplaced, has died, based on a submit from fellow former bandmate Vadim Taver.

De Blois helped fashioned A Life As soon as Misplaced with Taver in Philadelphia in 1999 however parted methods with the band three years later. He performs on their debut album, 2000’s Open Your Mouth for the Speechless… In Case of These Appointed to Die, and their 2001 EP, The Fourth Plague: Flies. A Life As soon as Misplaced disbanded in 2013.

“I am unable to consider I’m scripting this simply two weeks after shedding one other buddy,” Taver, who performed guitar in A Life As soon as Misplaced till 2001, writes on Instagram.

“I met TJ de Blois at a present in 1998 and determined instantly I should be in a band with him and we fashioned A Life As soon as Misplaced very briefly after,” he explains. “We spent numerous hours hanging out, going to exhibits, writing music, taking part in exhibits, sitting in a van collectively.”

Taver continues, “I’ve so many issues I can say about him, however for now I will simply say that his musical expertise was past phrases. Even at 14, I knew he was somebody particular and I’ve actually nice and fond reminiscences with him. Other than ALOL, he has made nice music with Like Lions, Midway to Holland, Zolof the R&R Destroyer, Colours and numerous others.”

He provides, “Sending a lot like to his household and youngsters. You can be missed my buddy.”
