The latest PRESIDENT teaser has arrived, this time showing the masked figure smoking in a chair as the famous ‘I Like Ike’ jingle plays. The track was used in TV adverts during Dwight D. Eisenhower’s presidential campaign in 1952 and was composed by Irving Berlin.

UPDATE 02/04/25
A further teaser from the mysterious PRESIDENT has been posted online, this time showing the masked performer alone in a corridor as lights flash and music plays.
The caption reads ‘Because Hope Is Choosing To Find Meaning’ and a clock ticks in the background as the final bars of the US national anthem play on an eerie sounding piano. The short cideo clip then reveals the date May 16.

UPDATE: 27/02/25
A new teaser video from PRESIDENT has just been posted to Instagram.
With the caption reading ‘We All Choose To Find Hope’, the short clip sees a figure stood at a church altar with their back turned to the camera, before the phrase ‘In The Name Of The Father’ appears.

Following some cryptic teasing on social media, mysterious newcomers PRESIDENT are one of the latest names added to the Download Festival 2025 lineup.
With a series of Instagram posts sparking an array of theories surrounding the band’s identity, PRESIDENT will make an appearance at the festival this summer.
Featuring captions such as ‘J O I N – T H E – C A M P A I G N’ and ‘T H E – F U T U R E – S T A R T S – N O W’, take a look at some of the band’s posts below:

The official artist description on the Download website reads “Citizens, the time has come. No names. No past. No distractions. Only the mission ahead. At Download Festival, the inauguration begins. Not with words, but with action. Not with empty promises, but with undeniable force. There will be no campaign, no debate, no opposition. Only one truth: President has arrived. The oath will be taken. The people will decide. History will be made.”
Shinedown, Rise Against and Palaye Royale are also among the list of names added to Download Festival.
